125 CambridgePark Drive is a six-story, 253,000-square-foot building beside Alewife station that King Street Properties repositioned from office space into a multi-tenant lab and office building. For the Phase 2 core-and-shell work under PIDC Construction, Atlantic Bridge & Engineering furnished and erected the structural steel framing and metal deck, about 395 tons as bid, along with the studded wall plate, elevator separator tubes and hoist beams, overhead-door supports and safety cable.
On the roof, ABE furnished and installed the galvanized mechanical screen walls, equipment dunnage, a grated maintenance platform with three stairs and handrail, and the screen wall around the solar substation. ABE also took on the building's exterior precast: 99 ultra-high-performance concrete panels were shipped to our Rochester, New Hampshire yard, stored, trucked to Cambridge in sequence and set on the frame by our crews, and three existing panels were re-supported. First steel was delivered in October 2023 and the project closed out in 2025.
