Atlantic Bridge & Engineering, Inc.

Certifications

AISC certified. Fracture critical. Three New Hampshire facilities.

Atlantic Bridge & Engineering holds American Institute of Steel Construction certification at every one of its facilities. For an owner or general contractor, that certification is the pre-qualification state DOTs and bridge specifications require before a fabricator or erector is allowed on the job.

What the Fracture Control Endorsement means

Fracture-critical members are the tension parts of a bridge whose failure would bring the structure down. Fabricating them is the most demanding work in bridge steel: it takes certified welding procedures, qualified people, traceable material and inspection at every step. Both our shops carry the endorsement, and our field operation is separately certified to erect what the shops produce.

03Note

Behind the certificate

In-house detailers working in Tekla. Quality control by AWS Certified Welding Inspectors. Certified welders. Licensed Professional Engineers on staff. Project management in-house. A dedicated Health and Safety department that provides oversight, code enforcement and training on every site.

Woman-owned business

Atlantic is woman-owned and WBE certified.
