Project Manager

The job

The Project Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the successful execution of structural steel projects from inception to completion
• Delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
• Project planning and coordination
• Budget and cost control
• Team leadership
• Quality assurance and risk management
• Documentation and reporting
• Safety compliance
• Leading people, driving for results and building the organization's capability, while holding yourself accountable for delivering results consistently
• Understanding job financial reports and applying them to job management
• Reviewing shop drawings
• Assisting with steel erection engineering

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization
• Experience reviewing blueprints and construction drawings
• 5+ years of industry experience in project management or engineering

A plus

Experience with any of the following:

• Structural steel or misc. metals
• Bluebeam Revu
• Tekla
